My Day

    Today, dad (John) had to go to work, so me (Molly) and mom (Maura) were on our own.

    We went to Harbor Island and I swung for a long time. Then, we went and got a soda (Sprite) and chips (regular potato chips). Mom and I ate them in front of the beach, where we saw the boats go by. We went back to the swings, and I swung some more. Then, we went home and read on the terrace.

The Weather

    Today, there was mixed weather. It was sunny and burning hot all day. On Harbor Island, it got pretty windy. It rained like crazy last night.

Books

    I am reading many books. The American Girl books that I'm reading are: Julie, Samantha, Kit, Chrissa, McKenna, Mia, Saige, Lanie, Kailey, and Kanani. I am also reading Thea Stilton, Creepella Von Cacklefur, The Secrets of Droon, Canterwood Crest, Harry Potter, poetry, Warriors, and Lord of the Rings.

    I have written an essay for school about the Pebble Partnership Mine in Dillingham, Alaska. I will enclose it.
