The Daily Mews
Day One: May 17, 2014
Written by Molly R. Danko
Last weekend, we (me, mom [Maura], and dad [John]) went to Central Park (in NYC) to climb rocks. The previous weekend, however, me and dad went to the Central Park Zoo. After that, dad encouraged me to climb rocks. I refused to at first, for I was frightened of falling. But dad had me go up, and once I had come back down, I had realized that instead of being scared, I went down quicker then I went up. So, the rest of the time we were in NYC, we were climbing rocks, having Popsicles, drinking soda, and swinging. We were having so much fun, we nearly forgot about the time.
Back to last weekend: Before we started climbing rocks, mom, dad, and I went on a carriage ride. It was awesome! We had SO much fun. I even got to feed the horse two carrots! He was very friendly. His name was Patrick. Now, let's continue with an interview with M. Doern Danko.
Q: Did you have fun climbing rocks?
A: I didn't climb rocks as much as you guys did. The rocks were very beautiful.
Q: Did you have a Popsicle?
A: No, I had OJ.
Q: What did you do before you climbed rocks?
A: We went on a carriage ride, and walked around Central Park.
Q: What was the horse's name?
A: I think it was Patrick.
Q: Did you enjoy the carriage ride?
A: Oh, yes, it was very relaxing.
Q: Were you in Central Park very long?
A: Yeah, we were there a couple hours.
Q: Did anyone fall and get hurt on the rocks?
A: Nope. You were amazing climbing up those huge, crazy rocks.
Q: Do you go to NYC much?
A: Yeah, I like to go there a lot.
Q: Do you like riding the train?
A: Yeah, I like riding the train.
That about wraps it up for today. Go to mauramollyny.blogspot.com again this evening to see what happened today!
